In 2004, The Nelson family founded SplitMaster Timing & Race Management as a response to a need
for a technology-based race timing company in the Midwest. “SplitMaster” quickly expanded from an
event timing company, to an endurance sporting “one-stop-shop”. We now specialize in virtually all
aspects of multisporting events, still providing Timing Services, using the latest technology available,
and guaranteeing our results.
SplitMaster remains family owned and operated. Our family has been involved in endurance sports for
over 30 years. We are dedicated to promoting multisporting events and encouraging healthy lifestyles.
Our family has pulled its resources together to offer the best and latest equipment and technology
available. We operate out of our sincere love for endurance sports and true appreciation for our athletes.
